This live Zoom program is designed to help you:
- Explain how to access the AZBBHE website and locate items in the current Rules pertaining to clinical supervision
- Write the five roles of a clinical supervisor
- Apply five skills involved in clinical supervision
- Apply the method of case presentation described
- Demonstrate the use of “process notes” in supervision
- Identify “derivatives” in a client’s commentary
- Demonstrate “identifying with a client” being presented
- Create a treatment plan
- Analyze effective or ineffective therapeutic interventions
- Describe knowledge, skill, and affective competencies of a supervisee
- Predict a client’s response to a supervisee’s intervention
- Reflect on their emotional experience when supervising
- Direct a supervisee’s exploration of their emotional reaction to a client
- Name three elements of racially responsible supervision
- Discuss supervisor and supervisee experience of race, gender, sexual orientation
- Describe three supervisor actions that encourage supervisee agency
Signing on at 8am with your special Zoom emailed invitation, and beginning when all participants are logged on; ninety minute sessions, then breaks, also lunch break; slides and narration live, discussions and questions from the group members; bring two difficult cases that you will be presenting in a small group later.
