Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. Log on to the AZBBHE website and locate all documents pertaining to licensing, and to clinical supervision
  2. Write the five roles of a clinical supervisor
  3. Apply five skills involved in clinical supervision
  4. Apply the method of case presentation described
  5. Demonstrate the use of “process notes” in supervision
  6. Identify “derivatives” in a client’s commentary
  7. Demonstrate “identifying with a client” being presented
  8. Write a treatment plan
  9. Analyze effective or ineffective therapeutic interventions
  10. Describe knowledge, skill, and affective competencies of a supervisee
  11. Analyze issues of diversity in clinical supervision
  12. Predict a client’s response to a supervisee’s intervention
  13. Utilize recent research in clinical supervision
