Learning Objectives

This workshop is designed to help you:

  1. Design and demonstrate a case presentation
  2. Demonstrate process notes in clinical supervision
  3. Discuss any derivatives that the client presents
  4. Identify and report your own cognition and emotion as the supervisor witnessing a supervisee presentation
  5. Demonstrate how the client adapts to the supervisee
  6. Recognize transference reactions in clients, and countertransference reactions in supervisees
  7. Present a difficult supervisor-supervisee dialogue to other supervisors
  8. Practice giving and receiving two-way feedback with a supervisee
  9. Cite recent research about clinical supervision

REGISTRATION FEE DUE NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK BEFORE WORKSHOP
Seminar will be cancelled if fewer than seven participants register.

BRING: your own beverages and process notes on one difficult case or process notes on a difficult interaction with one of your supervisees. We will present these events to the group, and focus on the learning objectives for the six hour seminar.
