Learning Objectives

This workshop is designed to help you:

  1. Apply the 11/1/16 revised changes in the AZ Licensing Rules specific to Clinical Supervision
  2. Identify specific tasks the clinical supervisor must perform to produce “acceptable” hours of clinical supervision
  3. Study towards the Board tutorial that all clinical supervisors must complete, as of January 1, 2018
  4. Identify the “specific settings” in which clinical supervision can occur
  5. Design and manage recurring case presentations
  6. Review a clinical supervision dialogue re: supervisee countertransference
  7. Contract with a supervisee
  8. Name three activities that a clinical supervisor is doing in the supervisory meeting itself
  9. Name three activities that are “not” clinical supervision
  10. Cite recent published materials regarding “relevant data” for processing in clinical supervision
  11. Name five competencies in clinical supervision

REGISTRATION FEE DUE NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK BEFORE WORKSHOP Seminar will be cancelled if fewer than seven participants register. BRING: your own beverages and process notes on one difficult case or process notes on a difficult interaction with one of your supervisees. We will present these events to the group, and focus on the learning objectives for the six hour seminar.
